The Canadian Association of Allied Health Programs (CAAHP) is an affiliation group for Colleges and Institutions across Canada offering programs of study in the “allied health” fields. ¬†These fields encompass all professions in health care with the exception of Medicine and Nursing.


To be the national voice for health sciences education

Vision Statement

To shape the future of health sciences education within the college and institute system.


To be a forum for collaboration and information exchange among institutions involved in health sciences education;
To profile and promote best practices and innovation within the college and institute system; and
To be an advocate on-key issues and trends with government, professional associations and other stakeholders.



The activities and affairs of CAAHP are conducted by a Board of Directors according to an approved set of bylaws.


The Board of Directors currently consists of six Directors who represent the following regions:

  • Atlantic provinces
  • British Columbia
  • Ontario
  • Quebec
  • Prairie provinces
